Surprisingly the approximate cost of installing one megawatt of wind power is Rs. 7 crore. Shares of Tata Power were trading at Rs 461.40 as of Wednesday. The company’s shares have increased by 90% since last year, and in only five years, they have increased by 700%. It is impressive that the stock has returned around 5,000 percent since 1999.

Based on sources published , there is intense competition among leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Siemens Gamesa, Senvion India, Envision Energy, and Suzlon Energy for a significant deal.
The agreement might be divided into several smaller ones with the goal of increasing capacity to 5 gigawatts over the course of the following five years. The contract’s entire value may ultimately approach 35,000 crores. Furthermore, Tata Power plans to invest about $9 billion over the next six years in order to maximise its potential for green energy.
